One man's love to keep boxing alive in New Zealand is leading to an action packed night on May 23.
The Eventfinda Stardium in Auckland will host the first Counterpunch Fight Night for 2020.
The night will include a professional and corporate bouts on the card.
Shane 'The Mountain Warrior' Cameron is the man behind the event.
Cameron is a former Commonwealth cruiserweight champion, having also held several regional titles at heavyweight.

As an amateur he won a bronze medal in the heavyweight division at the 2002 Commonwealth Games.
Fight News spoke with Cameron about the upcoming Fight Night and what is in store. Check out below to see what he has to say.
What and how many fights are planned for the night?
"There will be 5-6 professional fights and 6 corporate fights."
Who do you have fighting on the night?
"I will have my boy Joshua Francis as the main event, I’m looking at bringing an Australian over for Joshua."
When planning an event like this, what goes into it?
"The bigger they get = more work."
What is it that you like about this sort of event?
"I love to keep the sport of boxing alive in NZ.
"It's nice when its all over and everyone enjoyed the night, from the corporates to general admission to fighters to SKY tv to venue. There are always little hick ups along the way, you just deal with it and keep moving till it's over."
