Born 22 July 1989, Adesayna is a Nigerian-New Zealand professional mixed martial artist based in New Zealand.

He is a kickboxer, and boxer. As a mixed martial artist, he is currently signed to the UFC, where he is the UFC Middleweight Champion.

In kickboxing, he is the former Glory middleweight contender winner and King in the Ring two-time cruiserweight and heavyweight champion, which is the most titles in King in the Ring history.

As of January 27, he is #6 in the UFC men's pound-for-pound rankings.

Adesayna (18-0-0) is now preparing to take on Yoel Romero (13-4-0) at UFC 248.
