Eternal 50 is shaping up to be a cracker of a night in Auckland this weekend.

There is a slight change to the Saturday night fight card, Carlos Hicks has had to pull out due to injury.

"So Mike "Blood" Diamond has stepped in last minute against Dimps," says a post on Eternal MMA's Facebook page.

"Like his teammate Hicks, Blood Diamond also fights out of City Kickboxing, is 2-0 MMA, has a very impressive kickboxing record and holds a championship title for King of The Ring!

"We're very excited to see the show these two put on inside the ring on Saturday."

Eternal 50 will also play host to New Zealand's first four-man heavyweight MMA Grand Prix.

Henri Burns, Damian Maru, Jack Tuave and Ricky Biechun will all be taking part in the Heavyweight Grand Prix. The draw will take place this Friday at the weigh-ins.

The winners will go on to fight at a future Eternal MMA event to determine the Eternal MMA Heavyweight Champion.
