UFC Fight Night 168 is set to take place this Sunday at Spark Arena in Auckland, pitting Australasia’s best against the rest of the world inside the Octagon.

Based on the current odds available at the TAB, Fight News has put together the best bets.

While the odds given below were correct at the time of posting, remember to check the TAB through this link and the links below for up-to-date odds.

Parley: All three City Kickboxing fighters to win

Given City Kickboxing’s wildly successful professional MMA record and the hometown advantage, the prospect of all three CKB fighters winning their bouts is attractive.

Multi-Bet: Kai Kara-France, Brad Riddell, Dan Hooker all to win. Bet $20 to win $68.52.

Karolina Kowalkiewicz (2.85) vs Xiaonan Yan (1.38)

Kowalkiewicz (12-5) has lost her last three fights and is a heavy underdog in this fight. However, her last three losses have come to #13-ranked Alexa Grasso, #8-ranked Michelle Waterson, and former champion and currently #1-ranked Jessica Andrade.

Yan (11-1) is on a four-fight win streak coming into Sunday’s bout, including a decision victory over Angela ‘Overkill’ Hill in her last bout. However, some MMA pundits, including colour commentator Joe Rogan, think that Hill should have been awarded the win in this bout. Additionally, while this win-streak is impressive, Yan is yet to fight a ranked opponent in the UFC.

The odds should be much closer, with Yan as perhaps a slight favourite. Kowalkiewicz has more top-level experienced than Yan and is herself ranked #14 in the UFC Strawweight rankings, while Yan is unranked.

Prediction: Karolina Kowalkiewicz by decision. Bet $20 to win $37.

Jimmy Crute (2.23) vs Michel Oleiksiejczuk (1.60)

In Jimmy Crute’s last fight he was submitted by Misha Cirkunov in the first round, leading many critics to doubt his grappling credentials. However, Crute (10-1) was previously undefeated in professional MMA, with a long list of accomplishments including a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and being the Hex Fight Series Light Heavyweight Champion.

Polish-born Michel Oleiksiejczuk (14-3-0. 1NC) most recently was submitted by Ovince St Preux by Von Flue choke. Michel has better striking statistics than Crute and poses him a serious challenge, but the odds should be closer in this author’s opinion.

Crute has a 100% takedown percentage in the UFC. Coupled with his black belt in BJJ this should be enough for him to take out the tough Polish fighter.

Prediction: Jimmy Crute to win. Bet $20 to win $24.60.
