After Dan ‘Hangman” Hooker’s win over Paul Felder catapulted him into the UFC Lightweight division top-five, it appears that Dustin ‘the Diamond’ Poirier has informally accepted his challenge on Twitter.
Earlier today, Dan Hooker tweeted the following "Can you see me now (diamond).

An hour later, Poirier responded to the tweet, stating: “I’ve got 25 minutes for you”.

With Justin Gaethje rumoured to be in negotiations for a Conor McGregor bout, Dustin Poirier seems a very likely matchup for Dan Hooker’s next outing.
In the past, when two high-profile fighters engage in Twitter matchmaking, it often ends up taking place, especially if the fanbase gets behind it.
With UFC 251 heading to Perth on June 7th, this could make an extremely exciting addition to the card.
